This page is especially designed for exhibition of traditional Turkish art;
ebru, as known marbling in english.
Ebru
is an art going back to 15th century. Most of ebru styles are abstract and some
are
concrete forms like flowers, miniatures or calligraphies.
Bukhara is one of the
most ancient cities of Uzbekistan. The city was once a large commercial
center on the Great Silk Road. Ebru is originated in Bukhara.

Some details of my new artworks are at below. That is my own style. I saw some
similar patterns on the ebrus from 15th century, Suleymaniye Mosque Libray,
Istanbul. I am not sure about their methods. I like that style very much. In my
opinion, that is the most discrete style of ebru.
